Allen S. Ware and Carolyn Ware were prominent local business owners in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. Allen known for his unwavering belief in the power of knowledge, self-confidence, and leadership alongside his wife Carolyn, a story of persistence.

His legacy continues through the Allen S. and Carolyn N. Ware Foundation Scholarship, which serves as a beacon of hope for individuals aspiring to elevate their lives through education. This scholarship is designed to assist students who are determined to make a difference in their futures and improve their circumstances.

Eligible Recipients

High Schooler
College Student

Students from the following states are eligible to apply for this scholarship: Florida, Illinois, Indiana and Texas. Students attending a four year university, Junior/community college or trade school are eligible to apply.

Students attending local higher education institutions, such as trade schools, also including but not limited to: Illinois State University, Bradley University, Illinois Wesleyan, Heartland Community College or any Big Ten University (two of their children attended University of Michigan and Indiana University), are eligible to apply to aid in continuing their educational endeavor.
